About Dakotah Smith
Since 2015, Dakotah Smith has worked in a wide variety of roles that have helped to establish him as a go-to commercial real estate advisor. Dakotah previously served as Designated Broker overseeing brokerage operations in 3 states for a national firm, led sales teams, and personally helped over one hundred clients in the purchase, sale, or lease of properties. As an investor himself, Dakotah has participated in and raised capital for numerous commercial investment projects across the Midwest.
He is an educator and connector at heart, excelling at simplifying complicated concepts and bringing together the right team to secure the best outcome for his clients. He serves as an adjunct instructor at the University of Nebraska Omaha College of Business and hosts the podcast “Buy, Lease ad Sell: A Commercial Real Estate Show” where he connects with brokers, investors, developers, and tenants from across the country.
Dakotah has a track record of involvement in the Omaha community, where he serves as a Douglas County Planning Commissioner and volunteer firefighter/EMT with Waterloo VFD. He serves on the board of multiple non-profit organizations and stays active with the Omaha Chamber & West O Chamber of Commerce.
